Sire: Arctic Cosmos (USA)
Dam: Glaisdale (GB)

ONLY 3 SHARES AVAILABLE

A consistent gelding who has the size to progress over both hurdles and fences. He has raced 14 times in is career. Starting off in Bumpers for Pat Kelly and recording a Racing Post Rating high of 98 in Ireland  He then moved to Henry De Bromhead, ran in three Maiden races to gain a handicap mark in September/October 2020, before taking a break and returning in June 2021.

He returned in a Handicap Hurdle finishing 3rd of 13 beaten 7 lengths. After a below par run he was then switched to Maiden company to finish 2nd of 8 at Downpatrick behind a hot Willie Mullins favourite. He then followed that with a 6 length win at Wexford earning a race comment of..

'Close up, soon pressed leader, led halfway, went clear going best before 2 out, pushed out run-in, comfortably'.

He was recommended to us by Henry via one of Kayley's owners who also has horses with him. The English Handicapper added 10lbs onto his Irish mark which we believe was fairly harsh. We have enjoyed days out at Cheltenham and Wincanton on their big Boxing Day Meeting before running very encouragingly at Taunton in February. Urabamba now has a very attractive mark of 98 and is ready to be competitive this coming season over hurdles before tackling fences.

There are 3 10% shares left available. Please contact Martin Higgs for more details on 07831752056.

Name To Be Confirmed

Sire: New Approach (IRE)
Dam:  La Superba (IRE)

We are offering the opportunity to get involved in a project involving a recently purchased three year old gelding from Ireland.

He has been broken, cantering away and jumping smaller obstacles. The plan is to target a new series of Juvenile Hurdles which are being introduced by the BHA in the Autumn. They have very specific entry requirements which should play to our advantage and following on from these we will utilise the four years old

weight for age allowance in handicap hurdles after Christmas.

He is well bred and cost £105,000 as a yearling. The ownership will be for a fixed term of one year and then he will be sold in the Doncaster June Horses in Training sales, that is unless the majority of the shareholders wish to remain involved.

Kayley's thoughts...

"I purchased the horse from bloodstock agent JD Moore, who thought he would be ideal for the job required. He came to us broken and cantering and we have schooled him and he has also been gelded. He will now have a short break in readiness for the season ahead. He has an excellent page being a close relation to Thomas Hobson and seems uncomplicated and the right type to fulfil our ambition"

He can be viewed by appointment at Blackmore Farm.

This is very much a personal ownership experience and the syndicate will be run by Martin Higgs. You will have unlimited opportunities to visit the horse at the stables, an Owners & Trainers badge when the horse runs (subject to racecourse conditions), and regular updates from the stable.

This is real opportunity to join in the fun of racehorse ownership for a season, without the usual long term commitment. The costs are all in, so there will be nothing else to pay and there is the possibility of a prize money dividend and also a capital return if the horse goes to the sales. An exciting project which should provide us all with a bit of fun.
